چکیده

In this study, sodium silicate was synthesized and the characterization of zirconia which used as a suspension solution for anodization electrodeposition processes. The results synthesis using FTIR showed success making Na2SiO3 with appearance absorption from functional groups such as: silanol (Si-OH) siloxane (Si-O-Si) groups. From SEM data, it is known that each batch contains elements oxygen, silicon, indicates successfully without any detectable impurities. Calcination dominated by zircon elements, but highest content in 3 88.81%. XRD data shows ZrO2 (Monoclinic) dominates, 1 there Cl2 ZrOCl. Therefore, calcination process 3. Anodizing Electrodeposition processes are carried out ways, namely: a. Anodizing, b. Two steps (Anodizing-Electrodeposition, c. One step hybrid (Anodizing Electrodeposition) addition Al2O3 Na2O7SiO3 to electrolyte. surface magnesium after being coated looks pale white line. all three methods contain O, Na, Mg, Zr, Si, K, method Al found. samples also sanding not optimal Zr particles were evenly distributed on surface.

Process Mechanics and Surface Integrity Induced by Dry and Cryogenic Machining of AZ31B-O Magnesium Alloy

The corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys depends mainly on its surface integrity. Previous experimental studies have shown that machining can induces small (nano-scale) grain size, compressive residual stresses and basal plane crystallographic texture, which significantly improve the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy. These studies have focused on the positive effects of cryogenic coo...
